Personally, I prefer the Kiryu design of Mechagodzilla over the others. It actually looks like Godzilla, and the others have that stubby tail that I really don't care for.

not only that, Both Mechagodzilla and Mechagodzilla 2's functions were mostly focused on firepower, while in fisical combat they we're almost ultimately useless. Kiryu however was balanced between firepower and close combat, making him have a higher advantage since he could also take the big G head on in a fist fight, unlike the others who relied on lasers and missiles
