One side effect of having all the monsters be user submitted is that they tend not to conform to established archetypes. The roster doesn't include a chaotic neutral dinosaur, nor a superheroic giant, nor a flying, speedy insect, nor sea monster, nor wild primate, nor anything even slightly resembling anything from a Toho, Daiei or Tsuburaya production.
But that also works in its favor. These characters are as awesome as they are weird.
I can't shake the feeling that this guy is taking elements from my character Talos... steampunk mecha design, a smokestack over each shoulder, a glowing circle in the center of its chest, various exposed tubes and gears, general aquatic theme, being left at the bottom of the ocean for years while the body decays. yeesh, who came up with this? I think they copied me
As co-creator of Chelonra, I can say that we have not tried to emulate anything from your creature. In fact, I did not know the existance of your creature until you made this comment.
Well, that's nice to know. thanks for stopping by to tell me. I suppose kaiju with similar themes are bound to share some features, right? No harm no foul, I guess.
