I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon, since everyone ELSE seems to be doing it

Not to mention it makes a nice New Years treat!

The early reports of the new Godzilla design described it as "fat." A crude description at best, but when I saw the blurry photograph at the top-right there, I imagined that the design direction wasn't so much corpulent as it was "thick."

"Monstrously thick" were the words that came to mind. A mountain of a creature, unbelievably powerful and undeniably unstoppable. I approached this hypothetical design in a similar fashion to a paleontologist's anatomical reconstructions - using the little information I had, not to mention the previous works of

as inspiration, this is what I'm anticipating to be lurking behind all that blurr and smoke.

Amazing, i wouldn't say he's fat; i'd say from a paleontologist point of view it looks just right. Though i'm curious about the spikes on the side of the tail. Wish i could have seen the teaser at comicon.
