That said, these are the "Mane 6" from the frighteningly popular MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC. It's a franchise that many male internet users are embracing from a combination of the inherent high quality of the series as well as the raw ironic nature of it.

Twilight Sparkle - My favorite, because she's the most layered character and she has some of the funniest moments as the "straight man."
Rainbow Dash - Super badass.
Applejack - She fights by kicking apples. 'Nuff said.
